The Climate Action Network published two health-related articles in its ECO newsletter, which runs daily during the formal sessions to provide civil society perspectives on the climate negotiations. The first analyzes the growing health movement for climate action in light of the developments presented in the side event around the COP26 Health Programme. It also mentions the different initiatives that are underway for the health care sector to increase its resilience, reduce emissions, and align with the ambitions of the Paris Agreement without compromising health care delivery.

The second discusses the numerous ways in which climate change affects human health, and explores some of the agenda items in the negotiations under which health considerations should be integrated.
