The Role of HCWH in COP21

Between November 30th and December 11th 2015, more than 80 heads of states and other influential leaders gathered in Paris for the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21) in an effort to seek a legally binding, global agreement to reduce carbon emissions and the impacts of climate change.

During the COP21, Health Care Without Harm hosted and participated in 3 events on climate change and health care:

  • Health Care Climate Leadership Roundtable on December 3rd
  • Conference on Climate Change and Health Care on December 4th
  • Climate and Health Summit on December 5th
