The GGHH Forum meeting was born out of the strategic planning meeting GGHH members in Africa had at the beginning of the year. They decided to meet quarterly and discuss their ongoing projects while also planning activities for their future projects.

This forum was designed to engage GGHH members intellectually and challenge them to engage in sustainable projects in their respective hospitals. The meetings were scheduled for the first Friday of March, June, September and December every year.

Representatives from the following GGHH members participated in the event: Western Cape Government Health, Khayelitsha Hospital, Victoria Hospital, Lentegeur Hospital, Groote Schuur Hospital, Mowbray Hospital, Valkenberg Hospital, Netcare Limited, George Hospital and Worcester Hospital.

Topics of the meeting: Energy Usage, 2020 Health Care Climate Challenge, Waste Control and GGHH Connect.

Date: June 6th, 2015
